hi,
iv got winavi and im trying to burn a movie to disc,
anyway, the movie is in 3 avi files and when i open up win avi and click on batch encoding, i add the 3 separate files but what it does is when it finishes converting the first file into a vob file and starts on the second, i get a message saying if i would like to overwrite the first vob file, anyway i click yes and when the video finishes converting, i open the only 1 vob file and all i find is the 3rd and final video file, so this means it just overwrites the vob file over and over again,

can somebody please help me, iv spent days trying to convert the movie properly
thanx in advance

Maybe the later file replace the first one for the same file name.
You can rename it, then it will not cover it .
I hope it is useful to you :)

Hi,

http://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=255111 in the 1st pic use that option to save each file in a different folder (I suggest you create 3 folders on your desktop). From there you can use DVD Shrink (in my opinion the easiest) in re-author mode and add the 3 in sequence and your output will result in the complete movie to burn with your software of choice.

to burn or not to burn that is the question

hi,mub6
If you want to convert 3avi files to one dvd folder, you must click "DVD" button, not"batch encoding".
click the ?DVD? button on the main interface of the program. Then a pop up window will appear asking you what files you want to convert. Highlight the files and WinAVI will then batch convert them. Then you will have made them into one DVD folder.
good luck
