If u have the adaptor plugged in an switched on u should be allright, just DO NOT switch it off before the setup is complete.

Do i have to wait til the battery icon in top right corner is full? The screenshots iv seen all have full batteries, so do i wait for that? Is it the psp recognising i dont have full battery and protecting it from bricking?

If its saying there's not enough battery then just give it a full charge, leave it plugged in and try again.....cant say Ive seen that before though.

Me neither :/

I think this is just the PSPs security measure so it doesnt shut off while the update is installing
Like, it cant tell if the adaptor is in so it has enough stored power just in case?

It worked now :D

57% Battery is needed to initialize the update (This may want to be added to FAQ's...)

But thanx for the help guys, i appreciate it :)

Yeah the update accesses flash, so it needs alot of power and ac adapter to keep it safe from failing.

Just one more question...

I can now delete overflow.tif EBOOT.PBP h.bin index.dat and index.dat.bak ? And now i see 100.dat and camarche.dat

Can i delete these, or they stay there?
Or which ones can i delete, which ones must stay?
Thanx

I suppose the 50-60% battery level is required incase there's a power cut in your area whilst you're doing the downgrade.....

Yeah, a security measure. 57% is the minimum
