Okay so my ps2 worked yesterday.. today i go to turn it on, and it doesnt turn on, so i plugged it into a different wall and it turned on..

so from there i plugged it back where it was and it didnt work.. finally i moved it back to the wall it worked on and this time it DIDNT work.. i tired like 12 different outlets in the house, nothing even made the light come on... i checked the power cable and everything all looks fine.. any ideas????

The silver cable connecting the lid to the main board may have come loose or may be damaged. These are fairly cheap to replace.

thanks but i dont think thats what it is.. see i have the swamp magic lid, so i dont have to open and close it ever.. im gonna take it apart now and see if I cant see anything wrong... would help to get a multimeter and test the continuity in there..

You should have said you had a fliptop ;)

Chances are you could have damaged this during the install. But have a go and report your results.
