I'm trying to back-up PI on a blank dvd+r using dvd decrypter, dvdshrink, and nero. The main menu does not work. All the menu options come up as titles. can anyone help...

Try DVD2one in Full Disk mode instead of dvdshrink.

All the bruning info you need to start is here: http://www.dvdrhelp.com/forum/userguides/141024.php#dvd9dvd2one

Or (just as an alternative, not disagreeing with Ken but DVD2One will keep menu but also extras aswell hence spoiling a better compression) if you can get hold of it...DVD Architect.
It'll do whatever you want it to.
User friendliness 5/10 until you read all guides etc.
But at least 9/10 for an all encompassing DVD Authoring utility.

Like I stated , just an alternative...

Or DVD95COPY, the latest version for which offers very flexible options, along with amazing simplicity to use. IMHO it is the most adaptable compressor available. downside is it is pretty slow :( But I like it very much anyway.

Paul.

I tried dvd2one, but it seems to automatically cut the menu options out.

Then go to DVD2ONE site, with your original serial number and email address and get an upgrade free of charge to the new version 1.1.1 (I think) That has the full disc version.

Paul.
