On the MaxConsole forum there is a debate raging as to whether this is even a real loader, or just a fake hexed version of RunUmd.

I feel sorry for that person who upgraded there psp to play Fight night round 3, I think it was Sudds but I dunno. Good Post, now if this could be used like Run UMD Fix so that we can play these ISO's on our 1.5 PSPS

Well, Death Jr is a 1.5 game anyway, so this can't be a very rigourous testing process. Considering what this programs potentially offers (to play every UMD game on 1.5) there isn't much of a buzz, when compared to when DAXZISO or Fastlaoder first came out. Just seems a bit odd.

True, the US version is 1.5. But I think the Euro version has better security. Not sure because I don't live in Europe tho.

Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX (PAL) works too. I have just confirmed this using a friend's UMD on my system. Unfortunately saving doesnt work and neither does Wi-Fi. Works exactly the same way as using the SFA 3 MAX iso in conjunction with RunUMD.
A breakthrough yet a shame at the same time.

wow, i just got fight night r3 and i almost upgraded mine to 2.6. glad i didn't though now. still waiting to save up for a memory card so i can actually play it though. first game i get for the psp and i can't even play (for now). anyway, what do i need to get to run it? i got a 2.0 now. genesis umd loader 2.6? how do i run it on the psp?

mduga: dont you even have the 32mb stick? that is enough as all you need is to copy the genesis files onto your memory stick the genesis will load the UMD
In the genesis you should have an X folder copy that to the root of your memory stick ie not in any folders just right on the stick so when you open youll see x straight away.
Then inside the PSP\GAME in the genesis pack youll find the GENESIS loaders copy those 2 loader folders to your PSP\GAME on your psp
Put your fight night umd in go to GAME on memory stick and start genesis launcher and thats it.

ya, i don't have the 32mb memory stick. i got mine used for real cheap, but it didn't come with anything else. I just bought the usb cord, so i am halfway there. now i gotta get the memory stick. i am saving for a 2 gb, but they are so expensive. guess i will have to wait a while. thanks for the help. i will bookmark this page so i know what to do when i get my memory.

hi guys.
how did you load fight night? i have both the original UMD and a psp 1.5. then i install the folders as stated in the instructions.
i run genesis at the game menu (MS). a black screen appears asking me whether i run the umd (x) or extract system files from umd first time (circle). i press x and the fight night loading screen appears. but then a new screen appears asking a question i can't see (no words) with 2 options (x and circle). in both cases the question screens re-appears.
i think umd is EU.
please advice with details instructions.

quick question are you stating that with this genesis loader you can play your umd disc fight night round 3(2.6) on your 2.00 psp or is genesis loader jus a loader to play 2.6 on ur 1.5.
