Ok I have got a few DVD Movies some back-ups and some a friend burnt for me they are Book Type DVD-R. They all play in my SLIM PS2 model scph-70003.

So if they work and they are copies and my PS2 is not MODDED why shouldn't back-ups of games or games downloaded and then burnt book type DVD-R work.

I have not tried this but will be trying so I will do this and then let you all know what happens if it works if it doesn't etc... or if any one as done this let us know.

original games has code that a burner could not read or burn. The reason your backups of dvd movies work is that dvd has dvd file(vob...) so the ps2 will read it as a movie.
