I have a PSP, an iPod and like to back up my DVD's. The only software application that I can find to do all of this is Video Vault w/ AnyDVD. A search on Video Vault, on this forum, does not yield much. It seems most users like the free stuff, and that's okay, however I am not a software application genius and really need a "point and click" type solution. Two questions:

1. Is there an application out there that is better (for what I want to do?)

2. What is the difference b/w Diversified Multimedia's Video Vault and X Software's Video Vault? Who is the manufacturer/creator and who is the distributor?

You are going to want to use DVD Decrypter, which you can pick up through any p2p prog or torrenting.
And you are going to want to get pspvideo9 and that should help you with the psp part.
here is a guide made by one of our members detailing simplistically how to do video conversions.

Thanks for your response. However, I am thinking, that is way more than I want or are able to do. Plus it does not seem to integrate my iPod need. I will probably try the Video Vault program and hope that I pick the right one, Diversified Multimedia vs. X Software. I need a one stop shop, I am no good with too many variables. Thanks again.

nar piece CloneDVD is incredibly flawed.
i used it a few times, it has extreme sync problems, and the quality is pure shite!
i think he'll be crying trying to watch it his on ipod
