Does anyone have snaphots (Nero DVD quality check) of a perfect burn.
I want to know how everybody else is burning and compare them to mine.

Feel free to post all your test results
most recent or in the past, doesnt matter

I just burned a DVD,
I used my NEC 3550A, {Liggy&Dee 1.Y6}Firmware

If anyone has any advice on how I can make my burns better

In all honesty Shanikwa, all that the CD/DVD speed test shows is how well the writer/reader reads a particular disc ... and, yes that is an excellent scan ... however, I've had excellent scans that didn't play in all DVD players .. and conversely, I've had lousy scans that played flawlessly in all players

Go figure ...

I don't kbow about perfect i.e. exact compression ratio transferred to copy. Which can be done with Dual Layer disc. Your gonna pay to see the difference. What I see as more important is reliable media. I enjoy being able to back up a movie and being 99.9% sure that the original movie transferred to my disc media without plainly visible flaw. I accomplish this using Verbatim and Sony media. You will not have this same experience with cheap brands which will freeze skip and pixelate possibly at anytime during viewing. Compression can vary if you keep the menu with extras but you can get an even better compression ratio with added clarity by backing up "Movie Only" which I sometimes do if needed. The best possible media is the ticket, stay away from the crap.

I use clone dvd 2 with any dvd and I use any brand DVD-R. I have a 16 speed burner and I have never had a Coaster yet. I have never had a problem burning any dvd since I got clone dvd2 and any dvd to support it. Slysoft has the best software around.

I remember seeing a post awhile ago by someone who got 0 for Maximum PI Failures on a TYG02 with an LG writer.. It was alittle funny since people where suggesting that the person put the disc and writer in a safe deposit box.

When evolution selects its agents, it does so at a cost, makes demands in exchange for singularity, and you may be asked to do something against your very nature. This force, evolution, is not sentimental. Like the Earth itself, it knows only the hard facts of life's struggle with death. All you can do is hope and trust that when you have served its needs faithfully, there may still remain some glimmer of the life you once knew.
