Ok im trying to burn an image, but when i use the image wizzard in Alcohol 120%(newest version) to burn, i select IMAGE2.CUE, hit next, then it says unrecognized file format for recording......

In the cue
FILE \"IMAGE2.BIN\" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00

My bin file says IMAGE2.BIN

this is giving me a headache, i cant figure out whats wrong, i used cd mage and it said IMAGE2.BIN had no errors....

When im using nero to burn an image, could i just browse and select the .bin itself without using a cue?

may well be a corrupt image. It happens if you
file share and swap.

A couple of answers:

If you use Nero you can load directly the BIN (Choose File--->Burn Image on version 5.5.9 and above). But you have to select 'Mode1' and 'RAW Data' in the next screen.

Are you sure the CUE is (wrong!)
FILE \"IMAGE2.BIN\" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00
and not this one (the correct one)?
FILE "IMAGE2.BIN" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00

Ok this is what i did, I made a new folder, put the IMAGE2.BIN, and IMAGE2.CUE in it.

When i open up notepad and open my cue file it says the following:
FILE "IMAGE2.BIN" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00
I put mode 2 because thats for pc games right?, i tried MODE1 and 2 but still wont load for some weird reason.

Noooo mode2 is for Playstation! Stick to Mode1! The only know reasons for image not loading are:
- CUE is not in the same directory of the BIN
- BIN is being used by another application
- BIN is corrupt
