I have been using the regular DVD author to make DVDs with MPEG2s encoded with TMPGEnc. I recently got the trial version of DVD author pro which worked very well so I decided to upgrade. Now I have the full version but for some reason it won't recognise any mpeg files I try to use. When I click 'Add File' and select an encoded mpeg2 file it says 'Invalid video file'. These are definitely the proper files which the trial version had no problem with, so what's going on?

Try the Source Wizard > file method. That seems to work better.

Nope, I've selected mpeg video there and still no luck.
I've since re-installed the trial version and they still work there. I think it's a problem with the program. I'll get on to Pegasys.
