i was wondering to mod a ps2 do u need a modchip or can u use action replay, (i have a modded xbox that i modded with action replay)can someone post a link or point me in the right direction to find out to mod my ps2, i wanna try it out
Just get swap magic disks and a fliptop kit for your system,
I got mine from www.clearxbox.com.
Only costed 12 for the case and 20 for the sm disks.
Arrived on time in 3 days.
Action replay will work on OLDER versions if
you can find the AR V2.
Would be in your best intrest to get the swap magic disks,
As you will need a flip-top kit EVEN if you did get the
the old AR beacuse it was never meant to play backups.
And when it works its sketchy at best.
It could mean the difference between a working and a broken ps2.
Swap magic is worth the money.
(And fliptop of course)

Thanks GregI for answering my question. Otherwise, I know this is dumb, but I just got into this stuff yesterday and figured asking questions to people who do know more about this will help me. What is Action Replay for? What is swap-magic? Or any general infromation to look upon modding a ps2.(mainly any help you would offer me)
