I get an 'out of storage' error while using shrink, it goes for 11 minutes, and it bombs out. Need not to say I have plenty of storage and memory as well.
How much storage and memory do you have and what's in the system cache? Do you have anything like the Norton Protected Recycle Bin? Have you tried doing the same backup with a different app.
To successfully rip and backup "The Chronicles of Narnia", all you ever needed is the latest from DVDFAB Decrypter (FREE) + VobBlanker (FREE), and then use whatever your desire transcoders or encoders afterward.
To make a long story short, here's how to do it:
(1) rip the movie(any movies) with the latest from DVDFAB Decrypter into your hard drive, wait until it's successfully completed (this usually takes like 12 - 15 minutes only).
(2) open up VobBlanker and follow the below steps:
(A) INPUT = load your already ripped VIDEO_TS.IFO from hard drive
(B) OUTPUT = make a new VIDEO_TS folder in your hard drive or if you have 2 hard drives, then set the new OUTPUT into a different destination aka hard drive (this will process faster like 5 minutes only)
(C) click "PROC.ALL" at the RIGHT
(D) click "PROCESS" at the bottom
That's it... easy as sippin' on some Heineken. Now just sit tight and wait until VobBlanker is completed, then load/import your newly created VIDEO_TS file/folder that VobBlanker created into DVD Shrink or Nero Recode 2 or DVD-RB Pro + CCE and perform your usual "transcoding/encoding" process. And of course, the rest is history.

What won't back up Narnia? With DVD Decrypter and Shrink in ISO mode, a person doesn't even need VobBlanker or FixVTS. That's old freeware and nothing else needed. Check the quality settings in Shrink and you'll get high quality output. The only thing better would probably be Rebuilder.
Of course AnyDVD will work here. In fact it's nice to have because all releases aren't as easy as Narnia.
