What are the best type of brand DVDs for burning games for XBOX that won't freeze or skip or get an error and not be noisy and just be fine and no problems at all. And what are good for burning PS2 games so they work fine and smoothly?

Wait so you use Verbatim for XBOX or PS2? Or do you use one brand for one and anotehr brand for the other one? Can you please let me know? Thanks.

He's right. Either of those are a good brand to use for both the xbox and the ps2. I use the Verbatim Data Life Plus and also the Taiyo Yudens.

Which ever brand you choose, it'd be best to use the 8X's or lower.

Will the PS2 and Xbox work better with -R than booktyped +Rs to -ROM?

(I ask this since philraz prefers -R)

When evolution selects its agents, it does so at a cost, makes demands in exchange for singularity, and you may be asked to do something against your very nature. This force, evolution, is not sentimental. Like the Earth itself, it knows only the hard facts of life's struggle with death. All you can do is hope and trust that when you have served its needs faithfully, there may still remain some glimmer of the life you once knew.

Booktype to -R. But, not to -ROM? So, you're saying -R is prefered then.

I never thought I'd see the day.

lasers seem to generaly read the dash (-) system better but some will argue that that media DVD+R is a better quality disc as the quality of media can varry greatly between manufactures you can see the arguement can become confusing
Dvd+r only came into existence because disc manufactures did not want to pay royaltys to I think it was pioneer who owned the rights to dvd-r
