I just got a Plextor Digital Video Converter USB 2.0 (P67-1104) and I'm trying to capture video from a vhs tape to the computer. The RCA cables are plugged in correct and I hear the tape playing through the computer speakers, but no video. I'm using WinDVD Creator 2, which came with the Video Converter. When I first try to open WinDVD Creator, I get an error message that says:
"Video overlay is not available on your system and you will not see video in preview mode. Ensure that your monitor is in normal landscape mode and close other applications using video overlay. Do you want to exit the application?" Then I choose "no" and it opens up. I have no idea what it's talking about or how to fix it. I would appreciate any information.

I'm using HP Win XP 2.93 GHz | 40 GB, 200 GB HD | 248 MB RAM
