DVD Burning? Playback problems

Hi Iam using ulead videostudio 9 to make a DVD Disc from a DV Video camera. I have successfully saved the movie as a mpegfile for DVD then i use the software to make a .iso file and then use Nero 6.6 and tried 7 to burn the discs. About half way through the movie the picture starts to Jump and then sound breaks up, after disc stops playing. Iam using TDK and Imation discs 16x. I am burning at the lowest possible speed as well. I heard that TDK and Imation are best around. Never had this problem before, last year. But now with new discs on the market dont know if its the disc, ulead and or nero. Has any one had a similar problem making home movies any suggestions? Have updated all software to new versions as well
