seems not bad its kind of a price you would expect from a retailer. if i was thinking of purchasing a ps2 id buy it pre owned considering it all works fine. save you big bucks im sure you would b able to get a slim ps2 for around 50 pounds

Hmm, you buy the old thick ones for that price (£60-£70) and I wouldn't like a pre-owned one unless it had been fitted with a new laser.

only preowned or slightly used or refurbished model i would buy would be an older chunky version
V5/6 through V8
Never a slimline. The older versions were much better all around machines. If it were refurbished and they installed a new laser you would be set for years to come.

Easier to mod too. The slide tool is really easy on taking off the front cover, the silver one however you have to actually pull it off, kinda dodgy but hey it works.

As long as you dont abuse your laser then it should be fine ive had my ps2 from the very first christmas they came available never had a problem. no point buying a new one if the ps3 willb realeased late this year. well thats the way i see it
