Ok i put the uk cheatdevice on my ms and whenever i load gta it gets stuck halfway, is it because gta is trying to load my savedata but when it looks for it it finds the cheatdevice? My savedata is ULES00151S0 and so is the cheatdevice...

Rename the cheat device as ULES00151S5

The last number represents the slot in which the file is saved
All you have to do is load slot 5 which would be the CD

Im on 1.5 and ive got my own save as ULES00151S0 and the CD as ULES00151S5 and when i go to load it comes up as corrupted...

I only just got GTA to work on my 1.5 today

Download that ^ and install it the usual way
Then launch it and your on GTA

Any more help needed then just ask :)

no no ive got it to work ages ago with mph, im just trying to load the cheat device on 1.5, like i said i renamed it but when i press start,load, the cheat device comes up as corrupted data, any suggestions? I guess the cheat device just doesnt work on 1.5 cuz gta is a 2.0 game...

The cheat device and only for the UMD and since theres no way to load GTA UMD on 1.5 without a third party program yes your right only on 2.0

I'm a little confused. So if I used my umd of gtalcs it should work? If so how would you load the umd of gtalcs on 1.5? Or 2.0?

don't use genesis or jupiter project's UMD loaders. See, genesis ripped jupiter project off and used the same exact thing and just renamed it. They both sucks balls b/c gta:lcs always freezes with them after 10mins or less into gameplay. The only nice thing is it only takes up 2MB or so. Unfortunately, you'll have to use the MPH Game Loader which is atleast 25MB b/c of the flash1 and flash0 emulates the 2.0 software. you can find MPH's game loader at:

but you also have to do a firmware dump of 2.00, so you'll need the 2.00 eboot. locate that and then for the firmware dump, you'll need MPH's firmware launcher which is found here:

and none of these progs will damage your PSP, they just say they're not responsible for any damage b/c it's unsigned code. (not given an authenticity cert from ESA or Sony.)

and that's how you play gta:lcs on a v1.50. It works great! MPH did a great job! Never freezes!

but you'll never be able to use the cheat device on v1.50

So if I upgrade to 2.0 I can use the cheat device? And then mph loads the "real" umd?

You dont need MPH on 2.0, because gta works on 2.0 so all you do is load up the game normally and go to load then load the cheat device..

do you really want to kno why?
and mph game loader was first made to help play the gta umd, then it could play the gta iso.
but gta was conceived specifically to run gta at first
