My friend gave me a Playstation 2 with Magic 3.1 chip as he moved to
X Box 360...

now i've played with the PS for a while (several weeks) and everything was fine... and all of the sudden wierd problems began...
The PS itself is always loading the games (both backups and originals)
but after i play for about 15 - 20 minutes it suddenly ReBoot itself -
with the Red light led blinking none stop for about a minute or two..
and then just stay red...

i can just reboot the machine, but it will reboot again after anther 10 minutes.... i've tried changing the Power Supplier and it didnt change anything.. anyone has any idea what can be done for this ?

Sounds like it is overheating, will need a new fan or something because it will just keep restarting because it's getting too hot. An altenative would be keeping a house fan at the back, or a USB fan, that should help.
