Hi

I would like to no is there a way in ripping UMD MOVIES. SO for instance by inserting the UMD in the psp and then connecting the PSP to the PC via USB and Ripping he film. Is there a possible way.

Yes, if you have a Firmware version 1.5, download this program called Fast Loader 7. Run it and press Dump Inserted UMD, make sure you have a big enough memory stick and start dumping, this will dump the whole umd data onto the memory stick in a ISO format, next put it on your ISO folder. Then Download UMD Emulator 0.8c, in the configurations, choose ISO Type: Video, make sure you have a umd and highlight the iso of the umd you made and press X, and it should load.

i hav no idea how this worked

i connected my psp(v2.5) to the computer
NBA LIVE 06 was in
when I open the psp on the computer a message came from photo shop
it said there are imiges on this devise, view through photo shop?
i clicked ok and it was a basic NBA LIVE 06 picture
i went to file trace origon
there was the game
and i un ripped the game onto my computer
i cant really play it
but i think its just cool to kno

will try again with other games

lol, dont bother man you havent discovered anything great.
when you connect the psp to pc the pc will be able to see whats inside your psp.
Now when you have the nba backup in there the pc can see it and the pc can display the nba pic. Its as if you put the nba backup on the pc hdd youd be able to see it from there too.
What would be a great achievement is if you can get the psp to see it.
