dms pro se wont let net connect

i just recieved my v13 dms4 pro se modded ps2 my problem is: the ps2 has a connection to the internet when the chip is enabled, when i disable the chip upon start up it wont let it connect to the internet. the chip is flashed with the latest version of toxic os please help me figure this out

I do not play Ps2 online so i have no answer for you other than to possible go here and look around the forums.

Did you do your internet set up with the chip On or Off
If it was on you may want to disable it then run the set up again.
Not sure if it will make any difference though.

finally a good welcome from a decent person thank you and thank you for your help ill check out the link. i have been searchin all the forums for this answer but none so far. i tried resetting the internet settings with the chip off a couple of times but when i go to test the setting it wont let me cuz the chip is disabled. the internet conn. only works with the chip on. its the darndest thing
ill keep searchin and any more input would be greatly appreciated oh and could this be a deffective chip? its the dms4 pro se
