I really need some help...i cannot update java...and i went as far as uninstalling it trying to fix it...if i go to the website and try to download it...i save the file blah blah blah...but when i go to open it...windows installer pops up...and thats it...it is so frustrating....it just sits on preparing installatin. This same thing happens if i go to control panel...java and try to update from there. I am fed up and i really need some help...i am running windows XP media center edition and my hijack log is clean..just had it checked...please help....thanks...Lucien
