Was anybody able to do the movie keane???? Been successful doing every single movie yet until this one came up. Tried the updated Dvd Fab, Dvd Decrypter, and the anyDvd 5.9.5.2 with dvd shrink and nothing seems to work. Any ideas???

Welcome to the forum. If this is the movie that came out in 2004 you should have no problem w/ AnyDVD or DVDFAB Decrypter. That said if you are getting errors then it could be scratches or a bad Mastering Press. If that is the case then you will need to return it for exchange
I believe this is an indie movie so I doubt it is the protection. It is more than likely a scratched, dirty, smudged or otherwise imperfect disk. Try cleaning it or as Car.Mike suggests take it back and get another original
i had a bitch of a time with this one. shrink and recode wouldn't allow me to compress it to a DVD-5. after getting AnyDVD and CloneDVD, i was able to do it but the compression was so high, the quality of the video was terrible. the audio was fine but the video was very pixelated. the audio streams are what mess up this one. if you delete an audio stream, you will end up missing either the documentary part or the concert part. i finally relented and bought a DVD-9 and used that.
This is a brand new disc, with no scratches or anything. I had no problems with new movies that came out like fun with dick and jane or memoirs of a geisha, but this movie keane just came out for rent I think about a month or a month and a half ago and I'm still having difficulty doing this one
