I own a 2.01. and i was looking in the shops, and saw that almost every game that came out the last months, and ones that will come out all require at least 2.50, even 2.6. So, i really don't know what to do, update to 2.60 or stay with 2.01. I would update, as im not a user of ( the minimun ) homebrew, and as i said, at one point i think i am just ' forced ' to do so. maybe someone can tell me why NOT to update ?...

Any opinions would be great.

I would update if I were you, there's nothing you can do now. You can still use hombrews on the 2.60 with the GTA Exploit.

go ahead and update. You're not loosing anything because you've already gone past 2.0 2.01 will not work on any homebrew so might as well

2.01 works perfectly well with homebrew - aslong as you have gta

it DOESNT load ISO - ISO's arnt homebrew - its pirated material.

i believe 2.01 is more stable (for homebrew playing) than 2.6

*cough* backing up your original umd's in iso form is not pirating (screw any agencies that say it is) then back in the day if u dubbed a VHS so u had a backup it was illegal

same w/ roms in general then (if you don't own the original medium) they'd be illegal.

If you own the original, than making back - ups to not get the UMD scratched or dvd is not illegal. I own the original! Stop looking at me like that! I havent done anything. :)
