I recently purchased a 100 pack of ty dvd-r silver thermal.

and i have to say WOW! these things are as good as any REAL dvd. They fastforward and reverse just like an actual dvd. my tdks got real skippy, sometimes even completely paused during a ff or rw.
and supermediastore is right next door to my city - so ground shipping comes the next day!

thanks doc and everyone for recommending this to me.

but question is - how long do these last and when should i reburn them?

Taiyo Yudens use a AZO dye on its DVD's as do Verbatims. They say their supposed to last 100 years if you keep them safe and un-scratched. Do they really last 100 years..dunno, honestly probably wont be alive to find out. They do last longer than those TDK's you mentioned that is for sure! Oh, and you should not have to reburn with Taiyo Yudens if properly stored.

Mike
