DSM4 and a harddrive

Ok so my ps2 is getting a DSM4 lite installed as we speak but im still unsure what I need to be able to play games off of my hard drive. Can anyone help me. I have the network adapter and a Maxtor hard drive but Im still not sure what I need to put games and play them on my hardrive.

Oh yeah I have a ps2 version 4 and a DSM4 lite. As well as a 80 gig maxtor 720rpm hard drive.

If the DMS4 lite has dev mode then you can use it to load up hdloader, if it doesnt then you can download hdloader cd/dvd image and burn it to a disc and load it with your chip.

How do I know if it has dev mode. And where can I get hdloader at. Also how do I get the games on to the hard drive. Does Hdloader do that or do I need a different program?

Dunno bout dev mode. goto http://sksapps.com/index.php?page=hd.html and download either the cd iso or the dvd iso and burn it to a disc. hdloader will let you convert your games to the hdd. Someone with more knowledge of the DMS chips could tell you how to do it with toxic os that the chips run on but i cant.
