Hello!

Yeps, that's my problem: I've a Xbox with the x3 mod chip and x3 3294 bios and I wanna upgrade my HD with a 300GB-7200rpm Samsung HD300LD that supports locking. I wanna format it but with the bios I can only format it as a 31GB HD. What softwafe could I use to format it?

P.S.: I might happen that my English is not very good. Excuse me! (I'm from the Basque Country)

actually your english is better than several thousand americans so don't worry about it.
i would also like to know what kind of software you need for a 300GB hdd. i am going to go look c u in a bit.

First of all, thank you. But the problem it's solved. I didn't realized of that the HD was locked up to 32GB, so I put it normal and I've formated it without any problem, with the X3 bios. I feel a bit embarrased and quite stupid too! Jaja.

your welcome (by the way im guessing that jajaja is suposed to mean hahaha (the "h" which is silent in spanish (im also guessing that ya'll speak a lanquage close to Spanish or Espanol) sounds kind of like the "j" in Espanol.))(Hopefully i'm righ if not sorry...)

ok I don't know how to change a hdd, I have an xbox with hyperx chip and the xbox is a version 1.2 i believe. I flashed the chips with X2_5035 bios its working perfect i did not installed a dash yet but I want to changed the HDD to a maxtor 300GB HDD. What do I need to do? I searched the web, I founf some guides but I get lost. Does can any one help me on this. If it helps I obtained a copy of the slayers disk. Can it be used to install this 300gb HDD? any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
