I am totally new to this. I am an AT&T customer that has not converted to cingular. I just received a new cingular phone and I can't use it because I believe it has to be unlocked. I have no idea how to do this. From what I have seen here, you need the
IMEI 358846000032890 Model# 6102b. I really appreciate any help. It is hard to find phones for my sim and I am not changing over. Please explain as easy as possible. Thanks so much!

Press * 4 times fast for (w)
Press * 2 times fast for (+)
Verify code before pressing the last #.
If it still says Restriction on after you have entered the code, then the code is incorrect.
If it says Restriction Off, then the phone is unlocked.
