Problem with DMS format tool

Well here is my problem. I have a Original ps2 hdd. I tried to send an iso of a game through FAPLInk. Everything was going fine untill it froze. I figured i could just use the DMS formating tool which is found here http://www.exploitstation.com/index.php?page=elfs

I opened up the elf on my exploit and it said "Fatal Error: Failed to retrieve filesystem list"

I'm not sure how else i can delete this corrupted partion.

Another note: I have a laptop and im not sure i can take out my ps2 hdd and put it in my laptop so that option is out

You can hook your PS2HD up to your laptop. Go to eBay and buy an IDE-USB converter for ~$10, it'll include a power supply. You can use this to manage your HD via your laptop.

This way you can install game iso's to your HD more reliably and faster, cause transferring 3-4gigs of game over a network is really the worst, slowest, stupidest method of game installation.
