i have a little idea for a mod i was wondering if anyone else thinks that its a prety good idea ( hey no playa hatin now) ok heres the deal i have two xbo'es ones modded just how i want it the other however has absolutly no modification whatsoever. what im thinking is i wanna take my ps2 hdd 40 gb's ( i know 40 thats not a whole lot but hey i bought the hdd for 4 dollars 4 freaking dollars i hate to see it go to waste) so what im wondering is does anyone know ( and have something to base there opinion on ) anything that could get in the way of my little project
two xbox's stock 1.6 for xboxlive the other a 1.0 softmodded with a 250gb hdd. i have a ps2 with a modchip and a psp thats version 1.5 but i use devhook to emulate 2.71.

um I think tybro just wants you to rephase your question. I don't really understand what you're trying to ask either. Do you mean you want to use the 40gb hdd to try and make your xbox a virgin one again?

i have no frickin' idea what you're asking about, gamer. unless you're asking if you can hook up more than one hard drive to your modded xbox? in that case, i don't believe so.

ok let me exsplain this, can i take a xbox ( ya know the one microsoft makes its big black wieghs 8 pounds ) and clone the regular hdd that comes with the xbox and put a ps2 ( a 40 gigabyte hdd that sony makes ) in it my question is does any one know of any problems that i might run into from using a ps2 ( as in its designed to be used in the ps2 )hdd

i have never heard of using a sony 40 gig HD to use in a xbox,i dont a see reason why you couldnt using xboxhdm if you have the Eeprom and the C drive and E drive but this would be able to go on live in no way. it would be the same as upgrading the harddrive.

you can put up too 3 HD's in 1 xbox you need the xbox xtender case and the ide switch mod which switches from 1 harddrive to another.i have seen a couple.....

correction my friend you can go on xbl; with a upgraded hdd cause my other xbbox has a 120 gb in it hehe ( yes u get banned but who cares
)

yea the ps2 hdd is just a regular hdd, so there should be no problem thats why you could use a regular hdd for the ps2.

im excited to know that someone other than me thinks that it will work, my only other concern now is to see if i can get that stupid metal bracket thing off the outside of the hdd, also i wanted to say im sorry for being rather mean with my prior posts ( also ignore that one post where i said i wasnt banned from xbox live even though i put a 120 gb hdd in my xbox cause well i wasnt banned the night i did it but i guess theres some sort of timer thing cause the next day i was i was i was banneddddddddddddddddddd /cry /cry /cry noooooooo )
