Sorry I am a complete noob when it comes to this. I have a HD for my PS2, and all I want to do is take a game from the disk and save it straight to my HD. I was wondering if there was some sort of exploit where I can put a program onto my PS2 hard drive that would alow me to save the games, sort of like Xbox softmod.
I've seen other threads about magic something or other, but basically all of it went over my head. Is there a program I can put on a USB thumb drive and load it on my PS2 HD? Or if its more complicated let me know. I catch on pretty quick and helped my friend softmod his xbox, so I'm not a complete lost cause. Thanks in advance everyone.

The program you need is called HDLoader.
You can run the program from your HD using the Memory Card Independance Exploit.
