If you want ONLY the movie and NO extras and keep the picture quality, don't mess with the other programs.
Use these 3:
1. DVD Decrypter
2. DVD2ONE
3. Nero Express

I have just started this and I have backed up 13 movies with NO failures. Also you should use a "RW" to make sure the process worked. I did a coulpe of times but, after that I haven't.
