Hello. First off, sorry if this has been asked before, it's just this is kinda driving me crazy! And I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong place!
Ok. I have downloaded a film and I want to burn this film onto a DVD so it will play on my DVD player just like any regular DVD.
I have looked and looked for some software that will do this but they all seem too complicated, and all I want to do is simply burn this film onto a DVD so I can play it in my player!
Can anyone recommend any software which is easy to use and will burn the film onto DVD without any problems?
There are a few programs that would work. The four I would recomend would be:
Nero, to burn to the DVDs.
DVD Shrink, to compress DLDVDs to DVD+/-R
DVD Decrypter, as an easy decrypt tool.
DVD FAb, as an alternative to DVD Decrypter for the newest encryptions.
First, Nero usually comes with most DVD Burners, so you may already have it. The other three are Free downloads and you can get them by going to http://www.doom9.org in the downloads section.
You would first try to use the easiest possible method:
1. Open the disk with DVD Shrink, which can use DVD Decrypter and Nero automatically if they are installed.
2. Click Backup
3. Choose appropriate settings (burn speed, title, booktype setting, etc...) [Booktype should be unchecked if you are using DVD-R).
4. Click OK
5. The program will decrypt and encode using DVD Decrypter, and burn using Nero.
If this doesn't work, or it says "Invalid Navigation Structure," you would:
1.Open DVD FAb Decrypter.
2.Decrypt to hard drive folder
3.Open DVD Shrink
4.Open the files you decrypted to.
5. Click Backup
6. Choose appropriate settings (burn speed, title, booktype setting, etc...) [Booktype should be unchecked if you are using DVD-R).
7. Click OK
8. The program will encode the files, and burn using Nero.
