Burning PAL Files to run in NTSC???

I read the guide on playing PAL games in NTSC PS2s --- but what if you download PAL files? how do you burn them to run in NTSC consoles? will they only play as black and white? I have a few torrents that downloaded as pal files and i can't really find NTSC torrents for them -- can someone help?
