I have a modded Xbox and therefore I am unable to use Xbox Live. However there is some content (extra maps, characters etc) that I would really like to have. Is there any internet site that has Live content files availible for download that I can then upload to my Xbox using FTP?

not that i know of, what kind of mod do you have because even the new softmod's have the ability to go on live....

You can turn Aladdin Live chips off for xbox live use..

Thanks for your help. So there is no way my mod can be detected if the chip is off? I don't want to pay for the starter kit, bring it home and be blocked as soon as I try try to connect. Also, if I manage to download the content, will it still be availible to use in the game if i play a backed up copy of that same game?

yes most of the time content will still be available for the backed up game....and no you wont b banned thats why they have on and off switches....
