i recently got my box modded and tranfered my emus with flashfxp, but my controller port 1 doesnt work and i cant play any roms because of that. is there any way to change the emulators so it thinks controller port 2 is controller 1. everything loads up fine but cant seem to do anything from there or to disable port 1 and have port 2 as port 1. any ideas?

Have you got the "proper" xbox emu's...a lot don't work with anything but port one... Its only a socket and a few wires..nothing to go wrong with it really... Try having a look at the emulators config file, there is a small chance you can edit it to use port 2.. Are you using a "real" xbox controller.. some of the emulators are fussy about that!

Try having a look over at xbox-scene for x-port.. lots of info there.

ive got all the right emus. my gf happened to get mad and threw my xbox and port one doesnt work...weird.. shes crazy..everything else works though thank god...is it hard to change port 3 and 4 to become 1 and 2?

Depends if it's the port broken or something else..try just swapping the sockets over and see if that has any effect..They are just custom versions of usb ports..

Check in the emulator folder for a config.xml file, they have all the entries that set up and run everything.. If you tell me which specific emulator you are having trouble with I'm sat right by my xbox..

thanks for you help by the way...the main ones are snes9x and surreal 64. i can move around the menus in surreal 64 but some games like mario 64 and mariokart wont let me play with controller 2. the snes rom i get into the menu but cant select anything and have to reset it. i looked through file manager and cant find any config.xml only default.xml and that just loads it up

See what you mean..The info file with it says it supports 4 controllers but doesn't say how to set it up...let me have a look through my documentation I may have a setup guide somewhere..in the meantime they have a homepage here

I havn't been banned that was someother person that was banned...And i am supposed to get my other account back...Because of a glitch..The only reasoni was banned in the first place was because of my shoutbox....So please don't be a Smart*** and post that picture

Oh and i was only banned once and it was temporary.....2 weeks ago

janrocks, tocool4u3 is actually mydadsfat who is presently banned til the 29 of april. tocool4u2 is tocool4u who thru a program screwup got perma banned instead of temp ban. so everybody settle down!!!
