i just installed my xecuter 3CE modchip and i booted it up and everything and it just goes to the blue screen that has the links to flash bios and things like that, but i want to mod my maps for halo 2 but i think i need a dashboard like evoX or unleashX..I NEED HELP!!! what do i do.

First thing you need is a bios, the blue screen is the bios flashing screen..try having a look for xecuter 3 bios here

if i choose the one you recomended then will i be able to download halo 2 to the hdd and mod the maps, or should i download evolution x and if so which one of those do u recomend.....or which of bios would you recomend for doing what i want??

after you flash it, go find an auto installer disc like
Slayer 2.6 or AID 3.0
this will have all the dashboards and apps you could need to start out with. Just install them (EvoX on C: the rest on E: or F: depending how your Xbox is set up, it will be the folder with the most available space)
In fact those may actually have the BIOS on there as well.

i cant flash any of the bios that im downloading it says its not the right size..do i have to get one that is one of the exact sizes it lists???

some chips i have heard have different sizes of BIOS they can use,
like 512K and so on. Yes you need the right size BIOS.

i just tried to flash my modchip and it did it sucecfully and it turned off and everything but now when i go to turn it on, first it turns on indicateing that the chip is off (red) and then shuts off and turns on a gain saying that it is on (blue) and then the eject button blinks red and green and nothing comes up on the screen, no error code or nothing. what did i do wrong?....but it still turns on when i turn the chip off and go on....can i delete it and get it off my chip or what can i do???

Righty..Switch on by holding the power and eject buttons in for a few seconds.. The light on the chip bank switch will go purple and you will be back at the flashbios screen.. You can use any size bios with the x3 from 2MB to 256KB but you need the switches set correctly for it..

go to http://www.modchipstore.com/support/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a... and read the xecuter 3 tutorials...Team xecuter seem to be in the process of moving..

Be aware that you can't just flash anything and expect it to work..get the x3 3294 and set your switches..off..on..off..off...
1MB bios..1MB bank..

Then find an auto-installer like slayers 2.6 and follow the instructions..

alright so i found the right sized bio and i downloaded the slayer 2.6 thing or whatever...now what how do i install it and everything, by the way i used the x3 3294 bios incase you needed to know

Ok If you have flashed bank 1 burn the slayers to a dvd-r or cd-rw.. It's already an iso so burn it as an image or saved project. put it in the drive and turn off and on.. A menu will come up..select rebuild retail hard drive..install evox and all apps..evox on C:\ and apps on E:\..Hit go (It will ask you if you have a full backup and want to continue)..Unless you can set up your network and backup C:\ and E:\ Tdata and Udata just continue.. Takes about 5 minutes..remove disk..reboot and enjoy :)

does it have to be a cd-rw?... and whenever i put disks like that in the tray and turn it of and then on again it usually dosnt work??

No it can be a DVD-R a cdr or just about anything.. It all depends what your xbox drive will read..
