I realize this may be the incorrect forum for this post, but I'm having trouble with Superman, The Movie. It is a long movie (154 minutes) so its on both sides of the disc. Each size contains parts of the movie (as I'm sure you all know). Anyway, once I rip the two sides, I don't know how to put it together again and reduce the whole movie with Shrink - or is that even possible. Perhaps the best thing to do is put it on two discs?

usually if a movie is on a 2 sided disc 1 side is the movie 1 side is special features etc or widescreen/fullscreen option. are you sure that the movie is in 2 parts?

if it is on both sides you can use the re-author mode in dvd shrink

Yes you can do it, rip both sides seperately and then join them together using reathor in Shrink and then process. You will loose your menu though. Here is a guide

If you come up with a file size to big after you run it through Shrink once, you can always run it through a second time, but your quality will suffer. Make sure you use deep analysis and quality enhancements when you do your movie it will help in getting better target size and quality.
