Hi Guys.
Quick question.

I've got a 1.5 JAP psp, using umd emulater 8c, running an ISO of Most Wanted, and the game works fine.

My friend's got a spanky new 2.6 PSP, running an original UMD of the same game, working fine, obviously.

But for some reason we can't connect an ad-hoc game.
Wi-Fi Switches is on, and we can both connect to the Wi-Fi acces point at my office (Mine doesn't actually work, cause it uses WPA, but I can scan it) so both the wi-fi units work.

Does anybody know what to do? And is there any way of just doing a quick test to see if you can connect ad-hoc without running a game?

So maybe not such a quick question but help would be appreciated.
Cheers

Did you download your iso? If so, the ISO has been riped so the Multiplayer online must of been taken out to reduce the game size.

PS2 Slimline + Swap Magic + Fan
PS3 60gb Version 1.90
PSP 3.52 M33 EUR Black Version + Logitech Hard Case + Logitech 3 Sound Speakers + 2gb Sony Memory Stick
Nintendo Wii + 3 Wii&Nunchuck Controllers
NDS Original + M3 Simply + 1gb Kingston MicroSD
NDS Lite + M3 Simply + 2gb Sandisk MicroSD

Yes.
My ISO is 910MB, so dunno if it's been ripped or not.

If not, can different firmwares connect ad-hoc? (1.5 vs 2.6)?
Is there any sort of test to check?

I just tried game-sharing and could not see the other psp. So maybe it's got nothing to do with NFS but rather a psp issue. Not sure if that's a conclusive test or not. Any other way to test?

a quick test for adhoc is to send pictures to each other. You go to your photos choose send in options
the other psp chooses recieve and then it should send/recieve.
