I am thinking about buying a used PS1, the model as described, is white and has 2 big buttons one on the right and one on the left. Sorry, i am new to the Play station, so I don't know what version that is.

I know it is the newest PS1.

Can I play copies with only using software? I don't want any hardware modification or opening.

Is this possible?

you could only play ps1 backups with breaker pro or a modchip.

How does the newer one lokks like? is it the same but just smaller?

can I use breaker pro with the newer PS1? what is the deffence between PS1 and PSX?

Do I need any tools with breaker Pro? something to trick the sensor for example like the PS2 tools?

Or is it as simple as booting with breaker pro, then eject breacker pro and insert the copy?

sorry, i misread

yeah, you can use it with the newer ps1, you will still need a tool to block the sensor though.
