I bought a hard drive final fantasy xi. I got a network adapter and the hdd. I tried installing it to the ps2 but the hard drive icon wont appear on the tv. can someone help me. My network adapter works fine, and My hard drive is brand new. my ps2 model number is 30001.

Did the drive come pre-formatted for PS2, if not you will have to format it.
