Windows Media Player does.

You can't convert .DAT files as far as I'm aware & you cannot burn and watch on any other stand alone player either.

(If your W.M.P isn't playing DAT then you might need to change certain settings or just right click on the DAT and OPEN WITH... )

I played a .dat titled Sex Censor.avi

It was a .dat file instead

I double clicked on it & WMP played it!

This is under WinXP Pro...

(It does work if all is correct)

Make sure you are using Media Player 7 or higher. (click <Help> then <About Media Player>)

On older versions of Windows you sometimes need to hold down the shift key when you right click to get the "open with" option.

All the bruning info you need to start is here: http://www.dvdrhelp.com/forum/userguides/141024.php#dvd9dvd2one
