long story short, i think i burned something in my psp while i was trying to adaptit to recieve power from my car( i use my psp as a car stereo). when i connected the psp power to my the power distributer from my system i heard a low crackling sound coming from the psp. so i tried to turn it on and it does turn on with the battery attached but not if i have it connected with the ac adapter. since i dont have a warranty with it, I oppend it up and now im trying to figure out if it is the mother board. i guess this was a long story. anyone has any suggestions to what it could be
thank for your help, ive just been told that they do have fuses, but they are raely realy small. if i cant find some toi replace them il just buy a mother bord of of that site you gave me or look in ebay wich ever s cheaper
I have a JPG image showing exactly where the fuse is on the motherboard, its not too difficult to replace if you have a fine-tipped soldering iron, or a needle-nose hot-tip, or just bridge it with a pice of wire (i.e. bypass the fuse) if you are willing to risk more expensive components blowing next time you make such a mistake.
Let me know if you want the pic.
