Ive got a slim ps2 v12 no mods

my problem is it will only read certain games it will read all blue back discs but it is picky about others like guilty gear xx red ninja nba live 06 for some examples any help would be appreciated

hey. this is my first time on her and i need to be pointed in the right direction. i need to know the best program for free music downloads. i was using winMx but it doesn't work anymore

jonkai, start your own post, and do it in the correct section. This section is for PS2 questions.

kanuga, That is odd, if it is under warranty i would have sony fix it. Sounds like a laser problem, which the V12 is very well known for. It should have no problems reading any original discs, especially unmodded. Have you tried cleaning the laser?
"Using a Q tip with a small amount of isopropyl alcohol, gently rub the laser lens, and then use the dry end to remove excess alcohol."

thanks, i didn't mean to help you.
Since downloading music is illegal, and linking you to illegal material is against forum rules and all that.

I am not trying to be mean here, but you have to watch what you do in public forums.
i am sure you can get music and the programs to download them on any "TORRENT" site
that is my only hint for you.

actually making one back up copy is legel as far as i was told, as long as you own it. The forum rules say that we can help a person burn something they downloaded, i guess because they have already commited the illegal act without help. But we can not link them to the illegal material directly. Not my rules, i just follow them

didnt work :( no warranty because a year old and i had to resoder power supply if there is an easy way to adjust laser height that would help cause now that i think about it it will read them in the browser then when you start it it goes straight back to the browser like the tank ps2 do when the laser height is off
