the usb adapter i made only works sometimes...

Something really weird is going on with the usb adapter i made.
In order for it to work i have to shut down my xbox completely
then remove everything but the adapter and then turn it on. then
after about 5 mins it stops working again. any advice? thanks

I had the same issue with mine, when I tried to add some more cord length. I originally made it about 5" long, which was an awful idea on my part; now that I've been working to add about 7' to that, to make it more realistic; I have to troubleshoot the connections, and resolder much more carefully.

This stuff can take forever.
