Can I use this program to shrink my dvd's and make them mpeg4 (mp4) so that I can play them on my psp? and why cant I play my other mp4 files on my 2.50 psp?? Do I need a hack of some sort? Will the gta eloader fix this problem?? Someone please help me!!

my problem is that it says it cannot play this file when i CHOOSE IT from psp...

Can u tell me if it will work on adobe premier pro the conversion and the shrinking??

Some movies even though they are in mp4 format, they arent the right size for the psp screen (too big) so you need to encode them i suggest pspvideo9
Ive never used adobe premier but if you choose to you must find the option to resize the mp4 and make it 320X240 or 368x208

If you are looking to get in depth to change alot of options to lower the size, then search "Riva Encoder" and download the program (I heard that you cannot post direct links here, so I'm not gonna test anything). You can edit everything from that program. And once you do that, if you don't have Limewire yet go to www.limewire.com and once you open the program search "PSP Max Media Manager" which is the fastest PSP MP4 converter I have ever seen plus it also does the naming for you, which is good because the naming can get annoying sometimes

As for the 2.50 thing, I think there is a block because Sony found out that people were pirating movies onto the PSP. I had that exact same issue, but once I downgraded to 1.50 I had no issues at all. Some people may fight me on that, but hey that was my experience

no you are wrong about his fw being 2.5 being associated with this troubles. 2.1+ psps support more video formats by default.
