Problems ripping Buffy Season 1 DVDs

I am trying to rip the episodes from the Buffy Season One DVDs. I have tried several different programs. I have used DVDDecrypter and SmartRipper. On any of the three discs, I have tried to rip an episode. It starts ripping, but slows way down, and finally just stops moving altogether. It has happened on every episode I have tried and in all the programs I have tried. I had no problem ripping an AntiTrust DVD. Has anyone had this problem, and is there maybe something I am missing. A setting or something. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Have you tried ripping other dvds after the problems started with the buffy dvd? it could be youre drive thats the problem, if not then try reinstalling smartripper and try again.
