Not sure what you mean by back label surface or the readable /writeable side ( underside of disc ) but if it's gold you seek li' fella you might look here http://www.cdfreaks.com/news/13323 found this on anoter AD post earlier ! Don't know if this is exactly wahat you ment but they are GolD! Good Luck !

Yep - I ordered some earlier this year. Here's my original post:

They are not cheap but having a gold reflective layer is supposed to offer the best care for your recordings (see the referenced article in that post). I use these for precious data (mainly digital photos) and TY for everything else.
