neither one. If you want a chip save up and buy a good one so you will not be sorry later. DMS4 Pro or Matrix Infinity.
buying a chip is a decision that you should take time and do research on before you buy them. The 2 i mentioned are great because they have abilities that lesser prices chips do not. Like the ability to play DVD9 back ups, free flash upgrades that you download and burn to CD to upgrade the features and functions of your chip and fix bugs that come up with newer games, They auto boot everything so there is no need to learn as many as 3 different boot methods so you can play PS2 DVD, CD games, and DVD movies.
and other advantages as well.
that guy told me that aladdin 75K is made by Matrix Infinity,u know,im in canada,i dont know where i can get more kinds of clip,
can u show me the best clip for 75001?
He is most likely just trying to sell you a cheap clone. It may be made by them, i am not 100% sure. But if you are going to get a chip made by Matrix Infinity, then get one that is named Matrix Infinity
I just do not want to see you waste your money on those chips.
The Mars II for example is $19.99 in the US, the Matrix Infinity is more like $50, and there is a reason for that. You WILL get what you pay for when it comes to a chip.
There are a few cheaper priced chips that are pretty good like the Duo2 GT & Duo3, or CVrystal chip.
But the 2 i listed, any person who knows anything about chips will agree are 2 of the best you can get.
Yes, i have seen that the Crystal Chip has automatic patching for online play. I do not reccomend it only because i do not know anyone who actually has one and can verify how good it is, if it has flash upgrades and all that.
Ive been using sw for about a year and i think im going to get a modchip (its getting on my nerves keep having to swap disks and i want the normal case back on) i see loads of people say the Matrix Infinitys one of the best but can i play back up games online with it? i would assume i could but after reading this
"STEALTH-Mode (The Modchip can be switched off and becomes invisible to Online Gaming)"
to play backups online you have to patch them with the DNAS from the original game. The only game i know right now that detects modchips is Socom3
I think that the Crystal Chip may atomatically patch games itself for online play, just check into that. And since the DMS4 Pro and Matrix Infinity have free upgrades at least once a year that feature may be coming soon for those as well.
i do not play PS2 online so i have not tried it myself.
I do all my online gaming with my Xbox
Through a free program called Xlink Kai, which also has about 18PS2 games you can play along with some Gamecube and PSP
