Hi All,
I have this perfect disc (dvd-r) without scraches (maybe a few 1-5)
and i can not burn it or rip the files to my harddrive

i can playback the video perfectly on the disc but when i rip it (copy-paste method) it rips fast at first then slow down and dosn't even move after a minute.

same thing happens with nero v7 it copy good until 40% then stops and take AGES to move one bit.

i tryed nero v7, DVD Decrypter, and Alcohol 120%

plaese help i think its the brand of disc or the burner i an not sure
thankz in advance

if this perfect diskis a DVD movie then maybe it's the copy protection/encryption that prevents you from ripping! Try DVDFab Decrypter(latest version) and see if it works: DVDIdle.com/free.htm" class="korostus" target="_blank">http://www.DVDIdle.com/free.htm

if your disk is a copy of a copy and you're still having trouble ripping the disk then it's NOT the perfect disk and you should go back to the original and start again.

If the scratches aren't very deep, I'd suggest getting a polishing tool such as the Skip Dr. I've saved a lot of discs that way. No software is going to save what it can't read. Just run a google on the data recovery software. All that does is skip over the unreadable data.
