I recently installed a new dvd drive in my slim ps2 (v14.)
it functions well mechanically, however, when i turn the power on it bottoms out on the spindle and makes a horrible chattering noise. like the motor just doesn't know when to stop. is there any way to fix this??

any help is appreciated
